OK, I uploaded the cards, gameboards, rules, etc for my game called Timber! a few days ago. It would require a fair bit of work on someone's part to put together their own prototype but I'm hoping someone at least looks at the rules and the board and gets some idea of how to play it and fills me in on their thoughts. We'll see...
I recently completed designing my first game. I've done a bit of playtesting with some friends and it's gone over very well. I'm interested in getting feedback from a different community than my own but I'm concerned about revealing too much of the mechanics and game play to strangers for fear of having them copied. Is this a valid concern? Is it as much of a concern when sending prototypes to game companies?
