Great Video!

Thanks for posting the video, as it does hit the most essential items. Later, I'll add to this post with some other general things to consider when crowd-funding.

Also, I want to let you know that you've received very positive remarks from two game designers who have used The Game Crafter for their prototypes and have been very pleased with the result. I'll reach out to you soon for a quote, as I'm the Developer for a new 4x Space Game and will require cards and pieces.

Cheers,
Joe

Just the beginning

Hey Joe,

Thanks for the kind words! You're right that there are plenty of other things to consider when crowd funding but my video would be 2 hours long. :) The goal was just to try and boil down the most basic things. I'm going to do a couple follow up videos in the series and I think I'll start answering questions from the game design community and responding via twitter video as well.

We love hearing testimonials from game designers and we have some really big quality improvements coming in the near future. We're gonna keep raising the bar on print on demand board games! Give us a shout when your game is ready and we'll be happy to help.

Regards,

Tavis Parker

Thanks!

Tavis,

I greatly appreciate the response ~ we're hoping to have a prototype in the next few months. As to the hundred hours of play-testing...check! As to the 100 play-testers, it's more like 20...which is why I need to get the designer out to game stores and conventions...failing that PnP might be the way to go.

Cheers,
Joe
