Be Legend is a deductive, programming combat system for 2-4 players. Players will use cunning and clever deductions (and perhaps just a hint of luck) as they choose cards to play during each round from a spell book customized for their chosen Legend. The actions will resolve in turn as players use direction and movement cards, as well as their Legend’s basic and unique abilities to engage in combat, vanquish their opponents, and become the ultimate victor!

Be Legend - Ragnarok "You are the character you choose"
Be Legend grew out of an earlier board game I designed but eventually scrapped. I took all the best ideas from that and, along with the criticisms I had received, evolved it into what you see today. I have a great personal interest in history, mythos, and the need for humanity to make things greater than ourselves.
We offer Norse mythology as the first glimpse into the world we are trying to create. The characters represented in the Be Legend Ragnarok base set have an excellent balance of strength, knowledge, loyalty and deception. I want people who play the game to find that particular character that fits them, that fits their own personality and particular play style.
Each character in Be Legend is best represented by their Unique Ability cards. Characters like Thor, Surt and Fenrir have powerful Knockout abilities that showcase their dominating strength, making them dominate in battle. Odin, Freya and Herja provide a more strategic style reflected in their ability to search out information, giving them an edge in the deductive elements of the game. Then you have the deceivers who bring treachery and control, such as Loki, Hel and also Freya. You may notice Freya was mentioned above as well, and this is because she can also be played as pure control when mixed with certain Basic Ability cards. Truly, all of the characters can be modified from aggressive to evasive, from chaos to control, all depending on the unique combinations of ability cards you choose to take into battle.
Be Legend isn’t just about the characters in the game. It’s about the character inside each of us. Personally, I tend to lean more toward evasion/control.
