City Building Game V1

Picture 1.jpg

I have been working on cube manipulation game. You can use different actions to to different things with and to cubes. As you acquire blueprints and then pay to build from them you are able to do more and more. You can also pay people to do things for you.

Each phase you can take 2 of the available actions. Then once you have taken them the next player does the same. This continues until each player has participated in the phases. Then a few things trigger and you repeat this 5 times.

After all is said and done you score. You get points for various things. Most points wins.

Ya that description does nothing for me

Hmm... explaining your game in that vague fashion, isn't going to interest many people. It's like saying: "My game uses dice!" Wait for it... Wait for it... "Like in Monopoly"... You Roll & Move... Silly.

And paying people to "do things" is this like hiring a plumber or a HVAC technician to take a look at the A/C unit?!?! LOL

Oh yeah and don't forget: "You get points for various things!" Is this like an auction where people bid the highest price for your precious heirlooms???

You'd be better off to start a BLOG and talk more about the game, what you are thinking/working on, your challenges, the various ideas you have, etc. All that good stuff that makes people want to know MORE about your game.

Anyways nothing bad here -- just need to be more verbose with what you are in the midst of designing...

Cheers!

It will get more clear after I test it a few times. Just threw this up as a start point. Once I get just a bit further I will expand more.

Seeing the picture makes it

Seeing the picture makes it intriguing to me, especially if you can choose to build something big or a few small dwellings.

You can. The size of the buildings will actually make them better. So you can go big on a couple or spread it out over all 4.
