custom printed 3/4" chits are now available!

3/4" chits are now available at The Game Crafter!

3/4” chits have been one of our most popularly requested printed components, and we’re pleased today to announce Small Circle Chits! They are circular measuring 3/4” across and come 150 to a sheet. They are printed both sides full bleed. You can get a sheet of these for $9.49, or just over 6 cents each chit.

In order to keep costs low and improve handling they are cut into 10 slugs and left in the slug for the customer to punch out. Because of this they require a bit larger box (not a tuck box) such as any of our pro boxes, or the medium game box.

Download the templates and get started. Enjoy!

Your timing is perfect

Or is my timing perfect? Just last night I was lamenting that the 1.5 inch tokens were twice the size I wanted.

What are the odds of the "number per sheet" coming down so designers aren't charged $10 when they only need two dozen tokens?

Hi Rich, We're glad to hear

Hi Rich,

We're glad to hear you are excited about the chits. Many people are and it was a top 10 idea on our Ideas Forum. We try to give the community what it wants whenever possible. We don't have a solution for smaller quantities at this point. They are economical by the sheet and that's how we can offer them right now.

Thanks for responding, Tavis

The engagement TGC has is one of the top reasons I love you guys. And that's what gives me the feeling I can ask questions I think might help you think about how better to serve the designers and, as an effect, you guys.

What percentage of games do you think will use the 150 chits that comes from a full sheet? Or, if they use less (as I suspect they will), will take advantage of them if using them adds $9.49 to the cost of their game? And then, of that set, how many customers will buy games that are that $10 more for the pleasure of a handful of tokens?

I only ask these questions because it feels misleading to me, which I know is not your intention, to say that tokens are only $0.06 a piece, when by default, a designer adds the minimum cost of a whole sheet ($9.49) to their game regardless of how many tokens they want (less than the massive 150 on a sheet).

As excited as I am about the prospect of the chits, I won't be using them outside of order a sheet separately for prototyping.

We're not attempting to mislead you.

We're not attempting to mislead you or anyone else. I'm sorry you feel we are. The price per chit is 6.3 cents. We state the price per item because it's a number that people ask us for when we don't. Sure they could do the simple math, but most of the time people don't want to, so we give both numbers.

Going to half sheets only reduces the price of the sheet by approximately $1. So since we can't get a better price per sheet, we figured we're better off giving you the most total items we can fit on the sheet. That way if your game does need a bunch, you have time.

No intent implied

No worries, JT - as I said, it's not your intention. You're definitely not 'attempting' to mislead people. I'm concerned for the people who will add a few dozen tokens to their game seeing 6.3 cents a piece, and then be disappointed when what they thought would be $2.27 on their game turns out to be $9.49. that big jump might put some people off.
