Explanation for the City builder

City builder.jpg

It is a very simple straight forward game.

There are 4 colors of cubes. They are a form of currency. They can be upgrade and traded to gain better ones that will let you acquire better people and buildings.

The top row of cards are people that you can assign jobs to. You will pay for them up front and then they are free to play from your hand. They will give you a 1 time effect but be worth VP at the end of the game.

The bottom row are blueprints. You acquire them like small world. Pick the one you want but place a level one (light grey) cube on each one in line before it. It will then go to your hand. You then pay the cost of the card when you play it.

Blueprint cards can be played at any of the 4 locations as long as you build open edges touching. You can have up to 3 building sections per building. The numbers in the middle of the building sections are what determine the level.

Buildings will give you different abilities based on the building type and the level of the building. All will resolve that ability at the end of a turn (3 phases) and some will let you get a special action that can be used when it is your turn for actions.

That is the core. You will also have a hold that can be upgraded as well as a bank that can upgrade cubes between rounds that have been deposited in the bank.

Scoring will be based on cube type 1-4 values that are in the bank, building levels, and leftover cubes and blueprints. This part still has a lot of balancing.
