Don’t forget about the GrandCon Breakneck Design Challenge this weekend!
This challenge is for those who want to prove that they have the skills to design a micro-style game under pressure. Armed with contest guidelines and a box full of prototyping components from us, participants will have a day to design, playtest, and present a new game to the panel of judges! The top three designers will win fabulous prizes, and the best one will earn its creator the title of GrandCon Breakneck Designer 2015!
Contest overview:
-Participants MUST pick up their Design Kits from the registration desk anytime after 4pm on Friday, September 25, 2015. That’s TODAY FOLKS!
-The design must meet the guidelines that will be listed in the instructions found in the kit.
-The completed designs will be presented to the panel of judges starting at 4pm on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Designers Playtest Room.
-All contestants must be present at 4pm on Saturday, September 26, 2015 to present their game and be judged. Presentation should be no more than 5 - 8 minutes per designer.
-The winning designs shall be announced at the Awards Ceremony by no later than 12noon Sunday, September 27, 2015.

-GRAND PRIZE: $60 gift card to The Game Crafter
-SECOND PRIZE: $30 gift card to The Game Crafter
