She just.. takes off and runs with it.
In 3 hours I have more funding than my previous expansion's day 1, so that's enheartening. Not quite as many backers as that yet, but moving up, and I just sent out the launch email a few minutes ago.
(the first 40 backers are from an update posted to my original game's page, a facebook post (0 from there so far), and my pre-launch signups)
I actually enjoyed the "unboxing" video
It gave me a sense at what the game looks like. I have no younger children to play with... Most of my gaming is done with adults younger than me ... At our local FLGS which specializes in Magic: the Gathering. But it was cool to see what comes in a box of Heroes & Treasure.
I see now why "miniatures" wouldn't be of much interest. The are quite a few punch-outs. However IF it were ONLY the 8 Character classes... That might be more feasible. Because the punch-outs for the whole lot of monsters would be quite costly (renderings and molds).
And then maybe there would be some "inconsistencies" with the heroes and the monsters... Why are the Heroes minis and the monsters not, etc. So I do see the reason for keeping them standies vs. miniatures.
Anyhow best of luck(?!) with your Kickstarter.

Congratulations on Funding!
You didn't get a big boost at the end of the campaign... But you still got sufficiently enough during 20 days... That you needed only very little to fund at the end. Solidifying your fans is important and if you stick to content that your backers want... You should be good to widen your fan base too. Cheers!
