Kickstarter, Dragging feet, new ideas, and Play testing

It's been a while! Here's an update on the situation:

For "Tile Pile" I decided to go with Panda Manufacturing. I didn't even bother shopping around. They say they can make the acrylic/plastic tiles and bell so go for it right? Sure. The kickstarter page is finished. All it needs is the video and I can upload it. I still would like more playtesting done. My gaming group played it for the first time in about 6+ months. There was a major scoring change and a setup rule was thrown out by me (and now severely modified). This just bolsters the saying, "you can never have too much playtesting". I actually fell under the thought that I couldn't improve my game anymore. I don't want to release this if it's not the best product I think it can be. That last test shows that it isn't.

Arcana Victoriana is on hiatus. I've given the rules to 2 people and haven't heard a damn thing from either. I've only play tested with friends so criticism is probably limited.

Project "Madness of Nero" started at the very end of December. Several group workshops later, I have the basic outline of the game. I've bought blank cards and poster board for the prototype. Mechanics are the easy and fun part, writing down all the stuff on cards is the hard part. I'd rather dictate what I want on a card and have someone write it for me. It works better with my creative process. I guess I should find a voice recorder and dictate to myself.
