Massive improvements to Crowd Sales!

The Game Crafter - Crowd Sales 2.0

The Game Crafter has just released a massive upgrade to the crowd sales system in preparation for releasing it to everyone to use. We’ve completely revamped the layout.

Some of the feedback we got about the original crowd sales system was that the page looked too much like a regular shop page, that it was boring, and/or that it needed to look more like a crowd funding page. We’ve done our best to assimilate all of that feedback and create a new more exciting look. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.

The new upgrade isn’t just about glitz, however. It’s also got lots of new features. We’ll let you explore them for yourself, but here’s a list of the new major features:

Bundles - You can include more than one game in the sale, and each gets their own discounts.

Add-ons - Any games you mark as related to the primary game in the sale, will be listed as add-ons when the buyer goes to check out. In this way you can up-sell other products.

Images - You can display images inline in the description field now, not just as action shots. This allows for graphical headers and other uses of images to better tell your story.

Updates - You can post updates to your sale page for everyone to read like a mini blog just for your sale. You can use this feature during and after your sale. In addition, buyers will get email notification of each of your updates.

Comments - Buyers can now leave comments on your sale page to cheer you on, ask questions, and more.
We hope you’ll agree that this makes the crowd sales system much more appealing. Combine that with the massive new discounts we announced a few weeks ago, and you’ve got a powerful tool to sell more games.

Enjoy!

PS

We know many of you are waiting patiently to be able to run your own crowd sales. This upgrade was one of the last things we needed to accomplish before giving access to you. We just need to complete the application process and then it will be ready for you to use on your own campaigns.
