Premise: Adventures in Time Travel

The premise is "Adventures in Time Travel" and the core mechanic of the game is the Time Line, a series of five cards that represent different time periods.

As play progresses, the players' actions can dramatically effect the Time Line. Even the player's inaction can effect the Time Line.

Events pop up on the Time Line that either need to be helped along to keep the time line static, or they can be allowed to expire without interference, but depending on the Event determines what effect either action will have on the time line.

Each Age Card has an affiliation and while any card can be played in any Age, playing a card in the wrong Age generates Anamoly Points for that Age. Too many Anamoly Points and Temporal chaos ensues.

Each Traveller will have unique goals and abilities, so it is not a race for the same finish line.

The thing here is not historical accuracy but a sort of lampooning of the Time Travel Genre.
