The Printed Component Process

The Game Crafter - The Leading Print On Demand Game Publisher

In Episode 9 of The Game Crafter Podcast, Jeff King from All Us Geeks attempts to get a 6-month preview schedule for printed components. Instead, JT explains the printed component process and why The Game Crafter does not release such a schedule.

This is a great podcast that explains how much work goes into making new custom printed products at The Game Crafter.

Great Audio

This is an excellent audio...I have to say, as someone who has run two successful Kickstarter projects, and understand the need to communicate one's intentions early and often, I now better understand (and agree) with the rationale behind some game company's decisions to keep product development close hold. Christian Petersen from FFG is notorious for maintaining the gag order on both his employees and play-testers. In the end, it's about managing expectations...and let's face it, board gamers have a lot of expectations!

Cheers,
Joe
