Sleepless Space

Hello all!!!
Over the course of a few days, my buddy and I decided to design a board game. The game is more or less a ship management simulator, using cards and dice to determine what will happen and what the out come will be like. So far the idea is all going to be a co-op based game play, mixed in with similar combat as risk or seventh sea(AEG Version). I have a bunch of notes and ideas that I will be posting over the next few week and or days, depending on if anyone is interested or not. Iā€™m not really expecting much, because this is my first blog and may suck or be cool. If your interested in this game, message me or add a comment.

I am currently looking for a team to collaborate with on this idea, so if you like board games and talking about them...and space...then message me!!!!

Raise a hand

Yes, I am interested in this idea. Not to long ago Space Cadets hit the shelves and I was really curious about it. It has a similar theme but from what I can see thus far different mechanics. Even though it turned out to be a big hit and got a lot of good reviews (e.g The Dice Tower) it is not a game for me.

So I am really looking forward to see another approach of a "manage your space ship" themed game.

I'd be interested in helping

I'd be interested in helping out, it sounds like a great game in the making.

Are you inspired by FTL? Space Alert seems very similar to the theme too :)

different game

More inspired by the game artemis, but the idea is the same. Well atleast similar. If your interested in helping that would be awesome, because right now its just me and one other friend that are currently working on the game. In my personal opinion there is a lack of good science fiction type games. So I was thinking it would be nice to have a different take on it. I am currently posting other blogs about the idea. So add ideas in a message or comment =)

I am looking for ways to make

I am looking for ways to make it different, like most of my game ideas I like them to be different from other games out there. However, it is very hard to do so. Especially with the board of the game, I am have difficulties grasping a good type of board that is different but still easy to play on.
