Let me know what you think....

3rd party input

Ok, so I've been asking for input but am only getting it from people on FB lately. LOL So this is my quandary:

The game is a family light / children's card game but the peer said it was too cartoonish for adults.

Any suggestions here and constructive opinions / critiques would be appreciated.

Sure thing good man!

very nice artwork as usual Eberhardt! I have some observations for three of your four examples.
The chocolate milk card- blue text at the bottom in not very distinguished, maybe a darker, different color should be used, maybe text box? The sayings at the bottom of the cards a fun rhymes btw, nice!
On the distraction card, the upper left splat icon seems to blend with the red hexagon it is in, not sure what to do if that is how it is presented on others as well.
Finally, the caramel apple is lighter than the brown background it is on, maybe it should be the other way around, just a thought.
Looking fine as usual, also saw your posts to Boardgamegeek as well ;) Seems the game is almost complete? -Chad

@Chad Russell

:) Thank you for the compliments, yes I forgot I did not update the art here. :)

* Per the Blue, yup I got hit with that a few times. :) I've darkened it and it may suffice but would enjoy further input.

* Caramel Apple yes I agree but on proto-type I may let fly as this is the 3rd version plus and I think the artist / wife is going to hang me by the short hairs. It WILL be corrected in the KS version. :)

* Red Stop Sign over the Brown Splat is to indicate "Blocking" same w/ the Red Stop Sign over the blue rain drop.

Update

just checked your updates and corrections seem great. As far as the brown splat on the stop sign I would leave it as is since it is easily distiquished from a blue drop stop card. Now that I saw more cards as a whole and understand symbols things are more clear :)

:)

Chad:

Thank you again, if you think I should change the symbols please let me know. :) We played with blank stop signs around the colors, also circles w/ the Red Dash through them.

Another 15ish cards and we'll have the PnP ready for the most part and the Splat Icon for markers. :)
