Tradewars - Homeworld: More on The Derelict

I wanted to share with you some statistics with the NEW "The Derelict" scenario. These statistics are to raise awareness about how well balanced the game/scenario really is.


Turns 1 - 5: no Battleships

  • Rolls 1 - 4 produce NO damage.
  • 40% chance of causing no damage.
  • 5 turns to collect 10 quickSilver.

Turns 5 - 10: one (1) Battleship

  • Rolls 1 - 4 produce NO damage.
  • 40% chance of causing no damage.
  • Rolls 5 - 9 may produce damage.
  • 50% chance of causing damage.
  • Total no threat: 40% chance...
  • 10% chance of causing DIRECT damage.

Turns 10 - 15: two (2) Battleships

  • Rolls 1 - 9 produce NO damage.
  • 90% chance of causing no damage.
  • Total no threat: 90% chance...
  • 10% chance of causing DIRECT damage.

Turns 15 - 25: three (3) Battleships

  • Rolls 1 - 9 produce NO damage.
  • 90% chance of causing no damage.
  • Total no threat: 90% chance...
  • 10% chance of causing DIRECT damage.

As you can see, once you stop the initial attacks and put a Battleship into the Space Lane, you greatly INCREASE the odds of survival. Making smart decisions early on can impact how the game will end!
