Super-Bee! Board Game

Hi guys,

My new game is called Super-Bee! and its main target audience are children age 5-12. It can be played in 3-6 players and, once every players knows the rules, each game can take up to 20 minutes to be played.

The aim of the game: Find as many Honey Jars as you can and store them in your honeycomb. The player with the most Honey Jars collected wins.

There are 101 tokens (90 regular tokens and 11 special tokens) that gives players special abilities and bonuses and can cause trouble for the opponents.

Tradewars - Homeworld: about publishing!

What sort of *frustrates* me is how well my game is perceived by other game designers and how "neutral" Publishers seem to be.

I was asked to "pitch" the game and came up with: "it's a mash-up of Dominion, San Juan and Magic: the Gathering".

Custom printed circle shards are now half their old price!

Circle Shards at The Game Crafter

The Game Crafter is pleased to announce that we’ve worked out a new process for producing Circle Shards. In this new process, the shards are punched out into slugs rather than individually. The player will then punch the shards out of the slugs.

Other than the shards coming on slugs, you’re probably wondering what difference this will make for you as a game designer. There are two main differences:

Hardy's Design Blog - Cadence

Cadence - Road Racing Championship.png

Hey everyone,

So about a month ago, I saw this contest going on on BGG:
http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1211499/18-card-microgame-contest/page/1

The contest has one big limitation and that's it: Make a game that has 18 cards(no more no less) and no components other than that. Is it extremely difficult to make a game with just 18 cards? Well, apparently, its easy; the contest already has 75+ entries. My game 'Cadence - Road Racing Championship' will also be included in that.
