Linking components together in online versions of table games

Sometimes, cards and markers just aren't enough. Sometimes we're going to need to construct more complex structures from simple components - linking markers to cards, tying multiple markers together, etc. I believe I can solve this problem generically, so that we can link and collection of components together, but still keep things manageable: http://www.globalgamespace.org/index.php/blog/linking-items-52-55/

My (positive!) experience with KickStarter

... and Global GameSpace is live on KickStarter! (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/468008685/global-gamespace - please check it out!)

The KickStarter approval process has changed a bit since I last looked into it about six months ago though, and I think it's worth posting a couple of things that I stumbled over that I'd like to share:

Why should board game designers & publishers care about online games?

And more specifically, why should they care about _my_ take on why they should care? I can explain it in under four minutes in my new video: http://www.globalgamespace.org/index.php/blog/what-can-global-gamespace-...

Handling writing in online versions of table games

Not too many games require that you write directly on the game components, but it's really useful when prototyping - so I'm including it in my game prototyping framework. Here's how I think it should be done (in video form, of course): http://www.globalgamespace.org/index.php/blog/writing-items-57-60/

Design proposal for virtual cards

I've added a new video demo for Global GameSpace. This time, I'm looking at cards - a simple way to build them, and how to interact with and stack them. Let me know what you think!
