Did someone delete the private discussions forum? I know that it didn't really get used very much, but there was one discussion in there for a mildly promising game idea that I'd be sorry to see deleted. Please don't delete forums without asking whether the posts therein are important...

Thanks,

Jeff

Yes I did delete it. My apologies. In rebuttal, I could ask that you do not CREATE forums without first asking. The forum was redundant to the admin forums because the users of both were the same. In any event, I moved the threads to the admin forum before I deleted the private discussions forum. I believe it was called the two tiered guild system? If so, then yes, I did back it up.

Sorry about that, didn't realize we needed permission for that sort of thing. I created the forum mainly to allow for non-public discussion of games, but without having to use the old wiki format. It seemed off topic to the admin forum, so I started a new one. In retrospect, it never really got used.

It would be a great feature if there was a way for an admin, or any user, to designate which members can view a particular thread. But I bet that's hard to implement and so I assume not worth the trouble, if it could even be done in the first place.

Great, as long as the thread still exists, that's fine. Thanks,

It's really not a big deal. I just looked one day and we had WAY too many forums. I think there was around 20 so I started doing some trimming on the unused ones. That particular forum had only the one thread so I just moved it to the admin.

When we do go over to tiki I do believe private wiki pages and journals are possible with it.
