I intend to create a poll using Surveymonkey with the following questions, or something like them. THIS IS NOT THE POLL, it is a request for comments on the questions before I create the online poll. For example, I've listed, in the first question, resources I use or used to use--which ones should I add?

If you are interested in "sweep of history" boardgames, you might want to try that poll at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=807321722096.

How about a question concerning designer conventions, PowWow, Protospiel etc? I know there are some in Europe too but cant think of the names off hand.

It's hard to suggest worthy questions without knowing the purpose of the poll. But you might have questions about play-testing: how frequently do you playtest, how many different groups do you test with, and do you play along, watch and advise, watch silently, and/or do blind-tests without your presences.

You might have questions about prototyping. How many prototypes do you make? How much do you spend? How close in quality to a published version is your final prototype? Do you prototype first then start writing rules, or vice-versa?

A recent question of interest here on BGDF: Do you usually/sometimes/ever start with a theme, or a mechanic?
