Hey people,

How do you go about performing research for your game? I thought if we'd all share our websites, experiences, thoughts together we can help each other perform better research.

I work in a Library, so research is fairly simple for me. All I need to do is walk into the stacks of books to find information on anything I want. How do you go about doing your research?

Is there any websites that offer statistics on game designs? Like what designs work the best, what the current market is buying, etc?

I think this type of information will help alot of people.

Mainly right now I use these Internet sites:
www.boardgamegeek.com
www.pagat.com
en.wikipedia.org
www.thegamesjournal.com
www.bgdf.com <- this one really sucks though! (read that with sarcasm please)

And any book that relates to my theme. (past books have been on Greek Mythology, Canada, etc)

Rob
