Am I allowed to be fan-geeky enough to point out that it is "Inigo" not "Indigo"? :-)
Firstly, I reckon a location system more akin to that used in the 7th Sea game would be better.

My suggestion is keep it light and simple. Star wars and LotR are epic universes and lend themselves more to games with more complex rules. I would also suggest making the point of the game to end with princess buttercup. on your side of the table.

Although Fessik and Inigo work for Vicinni at the begining I thought they should be "good" and vincinni (if included at all) would be "bad."
Perhaps Fessik & Inigo would be part of the "bad" side while Vicinni is still alive.

I tried to take a look at the 31 cards and the rules...I have some thoughts, but want to see what is there first.

Where can I find the page...

www.whiteknightgames.com/pbride.htm

I loved the movie "The Princess Bride". (If you havn´t seen it, go out NOW and get it! It´s great!). It has a great story and I was thinking now with the recent release of movie TCGs like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, why not princess bride? Sure it´s 20 years old, but it´s a classic.
I thought I´d throw the idea here, and see if I can pool ideas enough to make an interesting game just for the heck of it. (A sort of design exersize). I´m thinking the game play would follow simular to that of starwars, with locations, charectors and specialty cards. I´m thinking there would be certin goals each side is trying to acomplish in order to win. NOTE: I do not claim ownership or the abillity to publsih said game, since the it´s the copyright ownership of the movie company that produced it. (Can´t remember). I don´t have real rules yet, but I have a few card ideas. You can see them at www.whiteknightgames.8k.com/pbride.txt

It's now more than a year since this thread was started, but you could deal with Inigo and Fezzik by making them in light and dark flavours, and the light versions discarding the evil ones when they are played. (c.f: Lando in SWCCG).
