Anyone know where i can find some blank 1.5 (ish)" square grids or hex A4 grids that can be modified and printed out? Im struggling with Word to produce something but getting annoyed with margins and whatnot. Some predesigned stuff would be a great help.

These are for my wargame that i can use for desigingng several urban environments (while combining a4 sheets together).

Think of the kinds of maps you get with the heroclix or Lord of the Rings miniatures games etc.

Click "Downloads" in the sidebar (yes, on this very board), then click "Documents", then "Graph Paper". It's all there. You can even cut the margins off the paper and put several sheets together for a larger board. A good time-saver, especially if you don't have graphic design software.

some a4 sized sheets would be nice. Also there are no square grids, only hex.

This PDF file (approximately 25 kilobytes) consists of a single A4 page containing a layout for an icosohedron (20-sided form) overlaid with a 5mm hex grid. The idea is that you can draw the shapes of your continents and what-not on to the hexes, and then cut it out and fold it into a roughly spherical form. I've included tabs along the sides of the faces for this purpose.

It can also be used as a flat map, of course, if you can't be bothered assembling it.

you might want to go check them out.

hope this helps
