I designed this game around a non-random combat system but, we have always played with a deck of cards that give free units, allow you to alter combat results, nuke your opponents, perform troop movements, etc. I was concerned that the game would be to predictable without a random element and might bog down into a stalemate.

We did a playtest on Saturday without the cards and it played better then I could have hoped. I believe that wargames without random elements are very tricky to design and I am looking for people that are interested in that kind of thing to share my idea with. Anyone that has Axis and Allies, Attack, Fortress America, or any game with infantry, armor, air units, and carrier fleets could be set up to playtest with only a few downloaded files. I also have an expansion that you would need bombers, mobile or mechanized infantry and fire bases or artillery to playtest.

Please post or PM me if interested
