Any Interest in a GenCon Prototype Roundtable?

I was wondering how many folks will be going to GenCon who would be interested in getting together in some meeting room somewhere and holding a little BGDF playtesting roundtable -- you know, everyone bring along a prototype, present it to the group, and we spend some time trying out each other's games, brainstorming ideas, offering feedback and having a good time.

I'll be working at the Goodman Games booth or running events for a good portion of the Con (the price for getting my room and board comp'd), but my evenings are fairly open -- and I'm getting there good and early this year (Tuesday the 16th instead of Wednesday) in the hopes of being able to run into some fellow BoardGameGeek and BGDF enthusiasts to get some gaming and kibitzing in!

Coming fresh from my visit from PowWow, I think this is a great idea. However I can't attend GenCon. Perhaps someone would volunteer to coordinate a playtesting schedule. I'd be happy to post a news article to stir up some interest if you'd like.

I'd love to meet up with folks and hash out some ideas, try out designs, and generally chit-chat about game design -- but I don't know if I'll have the time to coordinate/monitor something like this. I've got a pretty full Con schedule between all the events I'm running and my appointments.

If a few folks are interested and seize the initiative, they can track me down at the Goodman Games booth and I'd be happy to try to find some time to get together at the Con.

I'd be interested. I should be there all four days.

Heck, for you early-birds, maybe we could set something up for Wednesday. ;-)

Just found out that I can make it to GenCon, too. I think this is a good idea, but since I'm new to the Con, I'm probably not the best one to set it up.

It'll be neat to possibly meet some other bgdf'ers there.

I would be very interested in a get together, but I have some work related issues that might force me to miss this year! :( though others from infamous games will be there at our booth (dont expect anything fancy, just a few guys and an RPG game).

I will keep ppl posted and if I can make it there this year, I will hold a session for us to meet, talk and playtest some games.
