Hi there, folks...

I was wondering if there are any playtesters out there in BGDF-land that would be able to tackle a quicky playtesting project. I have a game that I invented last week that I'd like some feedback on this week, if possible.

This is asking a lot, since I haven't even written the rules yet! ;-) But my imagined schedule is, write the rules today and tomorrow morning and ship them with the game components via email to the testers, who print them out and assemble them to play. A typical round of the game seemed to run about 5-10 minutes, and it's the kind of game that the players a predetermined number of rounds. The game seems like it is for 2-4 players, but I haven't tested 2 yet. (It might be boring with just 2 players, I'm not sure!)

The game is a light card game, with a little bit of strategic depth to it. I designed it with the goals of... #1. Being able to play it with my kids, but still be fun for grownups. #2. Printable on just a few materials (5 pieces of cardstock + rules). I did the initial alpha-testing of the rules and components, and it went really well. With a couple of minor tweaks, I think it will run even better.

What will you get out of the deal? Well, you'll get an early preview of the game before the rest of the world, and I'll give you credit in the "Playtesters" section for the world to see. (You'll be, like, famous or something!)

If you'd be interested, please let me know. Thanks!

I am going to try and get together with a group of playtesters this weekend. There should be anywhere from 2-5 of us. If we meet, I'll PM you with my email address. Any time frame for feedback?

Quick question, what's the playing time for your game?

I think playing time is about 30-45 minutes. I'd appreciate any help you could provide. I'd like feedback ASAP but I realize you folks have lives. ;-)

Thanks,

Hi Scott. Most nights of the week there are atleast 3 around to play games, and some Mondays and Tuesdays there are 4-5. We would be happy to help you out.
