I always thought the Z-Cards were clever and with more CSG games (Pirates of the Spanish Main, Racer Knights of Falconus) appearing I've begun to wonder what it would take to create my own designs. I've done some casual searching about the web, but I didn't find any vender that would print and cut/burn cards for you.

Any suggestions or experiences on the topic would be appreciated.

Well, ArtHaus has declined to comment with the exception that they get the cards cut in China. More info when I have it...

Pardon if this search takes on a bloggish nature. I've noticed that people are reading the thread even if they're not able to contribute.

I found a magic phrase, puzzle card. That's what they call them in Asia. That has lead me to a much better source of contacts and web sites. Here are a few names that popped up.

Creed International Co., Ltd
http://www.3dpuzzle.creed.com.tw/creed/

Zhejiang Xinda Printing Co., Ltd.

LongPing Printing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Jinxiang Dafeng Packing Stationery Factory

I think that this would be a very cool way of getting custom models into your board games that would be fun to build. On one site (somewhere) I saw a price of ten cents per card with a minimum order of 100. That sounds very reasonable. Of course, they didn't mention set up costs, so I'm sure those numbers would change.

Glad to help. BTW, I'm only posting URLs that I find that are in English. Searching for the company names will usually lead you to a contact page.

Padshow Plastic Products Co., Ltd.
padshow.com

I'm still searching for do it yourself capability, but I have not found much to go on just yet.

Unfortunately most of our figures are done out of the country. Thank you for your interest,

Funny how the people that know won't throw you a bone. Oh well, it's not like they have to be nice and informative.

Top links there Zircher!

Many thanks for sharing - I was wondering how and where these things were made.

Interesting to see what the prices are once you add freight & taxes etc.

Aye, I was hoping to find a local provider (or at least one in an English speaking country) where I could get some specs, formats, and aproximate costs. I'm sure some of the Chinese manufacturers will be just fine. But, I'm interested in much smaller numbers than they normally want to ship.
