Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but there's a java tool for creating home spun Magic cards. Which also seems to have some amount "use your own images" kind of stuff, and a database for creating sets of cards.

Hmmm not too bad. I think as long as your willing to use the standard MTG format (Card title on top, then image near the top, card text beneath that) then it might be very useful to generate cards quickly for a prototype. It makes editing text very easy and it handles the cards in a database format, which is also very good. It's not exactly a magic bullet but it might be useful for rapid prototyping, especially with frequent changes. Definitely a good find.

wow, this thing is amazing. The person who made this should send it to Wizards for their prototyping. Or they probably already have something like this.

Never the less, this thing is great!

It's wonderfull. I always dreamed of a ccg where you could make your own card to customise your deck even more. The only problem is game balance. Thanks.

from what i have seen i love this product. It has spawned a CCG of the boardgame i am designing. I have made over 30 cards now and have not tried to print or anything yet. i hope printing is as easy as making the cards.

Thanks I'll have to try this out for the card game I'm making. I've been using Magic Workstation which works alright but it also cost money for the full version and I don't need most of the features since its made for MTG. Also this has the source so I could add things I needed.
