i need some help, is there any software (free is good) that will allow me to print a large format picture for a game board on a small format (A4) printer. if the images were printed on separate sheets (of maybe that paper that is one giant sticker) it could be then stuck together very carefully to form the board? couldn't it?

any help would be great
thanx

That kind of printing is commonly referred to as "tiling," printing "tiles" that you put back together yourself. Some software programs (most pay graphics programs) have it built in -- might be woth checking the help file for your application.

There might be some shareware software out there that does it for other applications, but I'm not sure.

If you are looking for free image editing software, you may want to check out GIMP. It is basically a free Photoshop clone, minus some of the bells and whistles.

Hehe, Yeah I'm encounterinh the same problem. I've tried it 3 times, with different pritner settings, but right now it just costs me too much ink. I'll try a simple rectangle with 4 letters in it first...
