Just curious how people have packaged a dice game? Should I use a small box or tube? Right now i'm just looking to package 5 dice with a small set of rules.

You should check with the dice manufacturers like www.koplowgames.com they might be able to supply you with the tubes or small boxes that dice are often sold in if you were to also buy the dice you need from them. If the rules will fit in a tube then tube them otherwise go for a box.
You could ask about blister packs. That would also be an effective and inexpensive way of presenting your game. I'm thinking of the kind that have a rigid plastic bubble and backing into which a card is placed and stapled (I apologize if that's called something else). You could even make the card folded and have your rules printed in the middle section.
