Been thinking lately.

Element has colored dice with clear lables. The dice look great. The box, though, is a brown box with a label on top that has the element logo. Too cheap sounding? I'm trying to produce the game as cheap as possible but still have it look good.

IMHO, if you switched to a white box over the standard brown box, it would do wonders towards lifting the percieved value of the product, especially if it was a higher quality glossy or matte finish.

Just a though....

I checked out your website and saw pictures of the dice you mention, but I didn't see a box. Do you have a picture of it? Or do you have general dimensions you can share? What does the inside need to look like, or rather what components must it hold? I'm curious.

I haven't ordered the boxes yet, and the logo for the game is still being done. I actually may not even go with boxes now that Dralius has pointed me to some VERY nice tubes online that might work better as packaging.

If you're selling them yourself then tubes should be cool. If you're hoping for distribution then it's worth noting that you may run into difficulty... shopowners (and distributors) like things that fit in nicely with the other things of the same type. There are games in tubes now (like LCR), so I'm not saying it will definitely be a problem, just that it might be, and if you're trying to set up distribution, it might be worth asking a distributor.
