Actually the glass stones at fish stores are very colorful! Cobalt blue is a common color. I am not sure how much variety they have though, if you are looking for only one color, this is the way to go. If you are looking for a seperate color for each player, then I don

One of our titles, Sucking Vacuum, comes with six flattened glass marbles. During playtest we used glass stones from local craft stores. So far we have found the best prices at US chains like Michael

WOW! This thread goes back a ways! I have to second Ed in that Michaels or another craft store would be a great place to look for glass stones. I just bought a bunch for a game I'm developing. They were about $2 per bag and there were about 75 or so in each bag. There were several color to choose from (I needed 4 different colors for my game).

Yeah! Old thread!!

I was considering the same craft-store glass beads but found they're too small to manipulate when close together if positions need to be maintained...

Being the husband of a DIY junkie I know you can find glass beads at florists and definitely at the mega home stores like Lowes and Home Depot.
