In my space game i am using tiles to form the board. What i am using right now is foam-board that has been cut to the size of a hex in settlers. Half of my tiles look fine but then the other half are not cut straight or some have corners cut off. i want it to look nice.

I have cut out all the tops of the tiles from paper that was laminated then i used rubber cement to glue them to the foam-board. This makes it easy to remove the paper from the tiles if i need to change something.

What i am looking for is someplace i can buy cheap hexes like the ones in settlers. if they are not the same size i can reprint stuff i but the size is perfect right now.

I also considered trying to make a mold and make my own plastic tiles but i don't think that would be a easy answer considering if you play a 4 player game you need about 60 tiles. i could always make 60 molds.

thanks

I've used hex tiles from this shop. They're very nice, and available in several sizes. For artwork I printed on paper, cut it out with scissors, and used a Xyron to make them into stickers to apply to the hexes. It made a good, usable prototype.

i would like to bump this one more time to see if someone has any idea of where i can get these type of tiles in the US. if not i might have to stay with my foam board cuttings for now until i am ready for a prototype.

Also is it OK to point toward my website when i get my site up and running.? I dont care for the journal to much.
