Hi All,

It present I am negotiating a contract to licence a game to a games co.

I have looked all around the internet for sample agreements for board game designers, and have found nothing.

Does anyone have an agreement that they could perhaps post, for the benifit and comments of myself & others that find themselves in this situation?

or could you point me in the direction of a sample agreement....
I would like to negotiate an agreement that I am comfertable with, before I put it up for legal reveiw.

John.

If you become a member of SAZ (SpieleAutorenZunft, German for Game Designers Guild, but it's really an international organization), they have a couple of previous documents in English that talk about what to look out for and some of the newsletters have related advice and such. The website is http://www.spieleautorenzunft.de/englisch/index.html and the English-language mailing list is http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/saz/

They may even have a translated sample contract, but I don't remember off-hand. You could ask on the list.
