Got a lot of feedback so far, i myself liked how it turned out but it is not about what I like, so any other feedback, what I should keep what I should change?

Looks like a very, very, effective card

I also like the 8-bit style.

The only thing that I would change, are the corners. They seem to sharp. While I would not make them round. Maybe soften the edges or something.

Oh don’t need to worry about the corners, that’s just the bleed edges and all that cutting nonsense, the game crafter actually cuts it round

Well actually "The Game Crafter" (TGC) has SQUARE Poker cards too! Here have a look see:

So maybe you can keep your current layout without requiring to make any type of compromises on the layout. Again this is just one direction, you could of course go for rounded corners.

If you go SQUARE, I'd strongly recommend Card Sleeves too... Those corners take a lot of punishment when shuffling. As you can see from the example DUNGEON TILES would be acceptable since they are maybe shuffled once per game and then played on the table.

So there is the option... But realize that it makes cards more frail to being damaged. Best of success with this design @jedite1000.

I changed the layout of my card as a lot of people thought it looked too busy and I agree, even though it lost a bit of the pixel style I was originally going for, I think cleaner looks best

No offense ... but

I preferred the OLD version with all the 8-bit texture and gooping slime. To me it felt more "Genuine" as in something different. The NEW version is just... Meh! Simpler and not as exciting IMHO.

Maybe if you print out BOTH versions and show the 2nd Version FIRST and then show the 1st Version LAST... Maybe people will be like: "Wow the 8-bit version is so COOL looking!"

Sort of like "reverse psychology". Just a thought...

Card Frame Feedback

I like B, with some caveats

When doing pixel art, I have heard that some people find it off-putting when there are different sized pixels. For example, in "Example B" the upper slime and lower slime seem to be the same graphic, with the lower one scrunched down smaller. Does it really need more slime below the picture? I mean... maybe it does!
If the picture is that small, you could move the diamonds up and make the text box bigger.
Is the Green slime at the bottom the most important thing on the card? It is definitely the loudest.
The text seems thin. I worry it will be hard to read upside down and across the table. Maybe this is a concern, but maybe it isn't.
Also, with the green slime .. it is taking up a lot of real estate at the bottom of the card. Is this something that can be shrunk, or maybe move to a corner .. or have the other icons in line with it? Can it move to the corner, expand the text box even bigger behind it, and keep the slime on top (just be careful when formatting the text)

Good luck and definitely show off some updates when you can!
