Since I am experimenting with new blanc's for maps. I am of course also experimenting with "bigger" play fields. However, the 90 cm diameter hexagon map was a good map. I am looking for something better and bigger of course.

And I would like to hear your thoughts of it.

Old situation:
Range;
The board allowed for a range from centre to a side of 7.
Paper;
With some good old 3 x 3 = 9, A4 paper.
Region size;
And a nice 6 cm diameter for each hexagon.
Pieces size;
The unit pieces and the whiteboard pieces had a size of 1,8 cm x 1,8 cm.

New possible situation?:
Range;
The board could allow for 10 range?
Paper;
Still 3 x 3? I think it is going to be 4 x 4 = 16 for comfort, A4 paper (or 2 x 4 = 8, A 3 paper).
Region size;
A region diameter is now only 4 cm. This is ridiculous small.
Pieces size;
The unit pieces and the whiteboard pieces have to be smaller. If I where to allow only 2 piles on each region, the size cannot exceed 1,3 x 1,3 cm.

So even though the number of regions practically doubles. The weight of a piece is only half now. And instead of 3 piles, this is reduced to 2 piles.
It is also smart for me to know that the height of a pile can only be half now.

Should I try this out? Or should I definitely say stop to my self?
