I would like to get some help on the best way to describe a regiment in a high fantasy ccg, or in my case, my NCCG, "Novel Customizable Card Game" which bears one of the titles. 1: Color Guard. 2: Flag Bearers. 3: Flagmen. Right now the title of the cards is: Flagmen. I have other ideas to use the cards for my game. Any thoughts? Thank you for reading my post.

The flag is generally referred to as a Standard, carried by a Standard Bearer.
I'm struggling to find historical references to a group of men guarding the Standard Bearer, though for the purpose of your card I would refer to it as either "Battle Standard" or "Standard Bearer".

Bannermen?
I have heard the term Bannermen used to describe houses or families that will rally under a common leaders flag.
I have decided to use: Battle Standard. Just like in any war sequence, the Battle Standard Cards give their units morale points, alignment for the units to stay in formation and other attributes.
