I would like to get some help on the best way to describe a regiment in a high fantasy ccg, or in my case, my NCCG, "Novel Customizable Card Game" which bears one of the titles. 1: Color Guard. 2: Flag Bearers. 3: Flagmen. Right now the title of the cards is: Flagmen. I have other ideas to use the cards for my game. Any thoughts? Thank you for reading my post.

Standard

The flag is generally referred to as a Standard, carried by a Standard Bearer.

I'm struggling to find historical references to a group of men guarding the Standard Bearer, though for the purpose of your card I would refer to it as either "Battle Standard" or "Standard Bearer".

kos

I have decided to use: Battle Standard. Just like in any war sequence, the Battle Standard Cards give their units morale points, alignment for the units to stay in formation and other attributes. Thank you Kos and everyone else for the comments and advice. I enjoy this community. Keep up the great work everyone.

Bannermen?

I have heard the term Bannermen used to describe houses or families that will rally under a common leaders flag.

I was thinking about that earlier today.
