I finally wrote the article about the impact of imagination on games and it indirectly explains why euro game have no focus on the theme.

I disagree on the conclusion

I disagree on the conclusion of why Eurogames have no (or near no) theme.

Eurogames focus more on another part of the gaming experience (the interaction/puzzle/mental challenge) instead of focusing on the «adventure» part.

Saying what you said is like saying that sports (like football, tenis, et cetera) have no theme because they are intended for people with no imagination. It would be wrong: they have no theme because they are intended to stimulate other things.
