Hidden identities in a new way?

Just an idea I had the other day.

It would be a game of trying to figure out your opponent's game pieces.

The board would be filled with different people.

At the beginning of the game each team (maybe just 1 v1 or 2v2) would take half of the people and choose 2 to use as their own. They would be marked on the bottom or with a facedown card or something.

The people are distributed around the board.

On a turn you can move any 5 people regardless of if you move 'yours' or not.

Maybe if a person moves out of a space adjacent to one of the people you picked, you gain a coin. You pick pocketed them.

It would then be a matter of seeing when your opponent gained money and trying to figure out which people were his.

Maybe then you have to kill him but can't kill too many innocents or something.

I didn't put too much thought into this but the mechanic seemed fun.
