This is the follow-up to my previous post. Attached are the rules to my dice game. If you have ideas for theming or a name I'm very receptive, as well as ideas for powers to go in the role queue.

Thank you,
Travis

Wine?

Wine Merchants as a theme? It definitely explains why the cards get better as they age on the table, it doesn't seem saturated, and it seems pretty saleable (you could name it something like Vintages, and market it as a wine&cheese filler). Maybe your dice pool could be your 'fields'? You could make the end of game card some big wine competition or end of season which explains the time limit (if you made it the latter you could make it a 5 sixes "icewine" as well).

Seems pretty solid, not seeing any easily abusable strategies. You might want to call 'roles' something else (jobs? hires?) just because it can be confused with dice 'rolls' in conversation. It might be a thought to change the limit from picking up one card a turn to using each die once a turn: this opens up some interesting choices of picking up one big card or a bunch of smaller ones (though you'd probably want some refill with the multiple grab - which can then create more interesting choices of whether you want to give your opponents more options).

PS. Yes, I know 'Vintage' is a preexisting wine game, but the gameplay is very different and it doesn't really have name recognition. Also I kind of hate its graphic design: when I see a map with that much brown I think 'wargame' not 'fun wine game'.
