Robot Fight Game (Name?)

So, for the last few days I've been thinking about a board game that would be some mix between Ricochet Robots, Wings of War and something else that I probably haven't played. The idea is that you have a gridded board, perhaps built out of several pieces placed at the start of the game. Each player will control a robot (unless the theme changes, it was the only thing I could think of), and their goal is to walk over the opponents' robots to destroy them in a last man standing death match.

For movement, you have a deck of cards. You draw a number of cards (I'm thinking 3) at the start of the game, and when you play one you draw a new. At the start of the game, player 2 will place his/her movement card upside down in front of him/her. Then, player 1 will play the first movement card (image attached) and move like the card describes. After P1 has moved, P3 will place a movement card upside down. Then, P2 shows everyone the card that he/she put down earlier and moves accordingly, after which P4 will place his card upside down... And it goes on, you understand. This creates a strategical, flowing movement system that still has a 'player turn' of sorts.

You destroy your opponents by walking OVER them. That is, on your turn, if you move so that you at some point occupy an opponent's space but don't end your move in it, he is destroyed and out of the game. You can destroy several opponents in the same turn this way. If you, on the other hand, END your turn in an occupied space, both you and the person you crashed into are destroyed.

The board would probably contain various elements to increase/decrease movement difficulty, such as walls (if you are forced to walk into a wall, you are destroyed and out), conveyor belts (automatically moves any robot walking on top of them to the end, and then movement continues normally) and oil spots (movement is slowed or stopped).

Special effects on cards (such as in the attached picture) would function so that they affect everyone up until the start of your next turn, or until a new special effect comes into play (at which point the previous effect is cancelled). Special effects (that I've thought of so far) are:

MAX X: You may not play cards with a higher speed than X. If you do, stand still this turn.
MIN X: You may not play cards with a lower speed than X. If you do, stand still this turn.
ALL MOVE -X: The speed of your card is lowered by X. Follow the card's movement until you have moved the same amount of squares as the new speed.
ALL MOVE +X: The speed of your card is increased by X. Follow the card's movement, and continue in the same direction as your last until you have moved the same amount of squares as the new speed.

... I think I covered everything I wanted to. Oh and by the way, hi. I'm Kraetyz. I'm new here.
EDIT: Also, I am aware there is a game called Robo Rally. I've never played it, but someone compared Wings of War to it (can't remember the context). Is this anything like that game? <.<

EDIT 2: After a short discussion with my girlfriend, we came up with a few fun ideas to promote variety and replayability (possibly). Each board's characters would be individual, having their own deck with different maneuvers and special abilities. There could also be many different themes for the board. Things we thought of: Robot factory, jungle, space, schoolyard. Each board would have their own set of characters (such as space having ships and jungle having animals) aswell as different game mechanics (worm holes teleporting you to really odd places, vines taking you over hedge walls, you get it).
