Do you always aim for the same layout as your final rules pages/booklet?

I'm experimenting with layout, so I have made a new quick-rules-page for playtesters and want to know what you think. Do you always aim for the same layout as your final rules pages/booklet?

The file:
The idea is to have a piece of paper and fold a third of the paper so it will overlap the back. On the part that overlaps is how to start the game and win, then when you fold up a summary of the most important rules (with additional rules on the behind of "the fold").

The fold is marked with a pale gray line. Right narrow part of a page folded over to the other side.

If you are asking about the different revs of rules, I think it is important to think ahead and make a layout that will suit what you want and stick to it throughout. It is not always possible; but for the designer it helps keep the brain organized, and can lend a hand to recognition by users and potential users.

I saw your layout & I think if I saw someone reading it 6 months from now in a game shop, I would probably remember it.

Most large companies stick to a few layouts for almost all they do. It breeds familiarity. When you want someone to read rules or a manual, familiarity works like a kick in the pants.

Thanx

Thanx for the feedback. I've had some different feedback and mostly complaints is about repeating or not using bullet lists. There may still be some revisions ...
