hey guys, I've talked a little of designing a game my self including an rpg that is still in the works and wanted to share with you guys that the first set plus rules are located -> http://sites.google.com/site/lividvisage

Additionally it functions as my designing blog for the game. We are thinking on doing set 2 later this year or early 2012. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do.

All you need to play the game is 40 pieces of paper, some sleeves and cards to add weight. Nothing too fancy. The numbers on the cards are written starting from Top horizontal and rotating 90 degrees... There is an example of what the final cards will look like on the site. :)

Zones?

I don’t have time to playtest your game but I thought I would check it out and discovered a problem with the rules right from the start.

“Each player pulls out from their deck 1 character with 3210 power and places it face down in the character zone.”

Your rules don’t have a diagram of the zones. How do I know where to place the card, is it important that it get placed somewhere specific?

Sorry, i can clarify that, and ill do the same on the blog.

Basically the game has currently 4 zones. The players hand Zone (which is hidden from all players.), The Deck Zone (Hidden as well), The Discard Zone (Public Knowledge, Order of cards doesn't matter), and finally the Battle Zone which is divided into 5 Slots(max) and when your slots are empty you lose the game.

Each player has their own zones. As the game progresses the Out of Play Zone will be added and maybe a few other zones that we are thinking on adding to the board. However for the initial game there are only 4 zones.

;)
