I really wish I had a standing playtesting group!

I need some advice/ collaboration/ playtesting from designers.
Anyone interested in trading games?

It is mostly me by myself, but my wife might enjoy some games to test. Either way, if it doesn't take more than an hour, I promise to test out your game, rulebook and give you some feedback if you would like to return the favor for me.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if my games are there...

but if you want play testers, I am more than happy to test. My wife and I playtested "Compliment Punch" for someone on here many years back when I first joined. (I remember it, cause my wife was pregnant at the time and the game involved being smacked to win. She always lost, but got complimented a lot.) Unfortunately, our game group is on hold during the pandemic, so I can't get the usual differing play styles and group sizes.

While I have some games in a playtestable state, I really need to clean up the rules or make some modifications. So I don't think I would be ready to send you anything yet. I guess I could send you a silly little PnP I made.

It looks like it has some RPS

It looks like it has some RPS elements, but is otherwise straightforward. Do you have any rules I could work with? or just tell me here.

here is mine.
I hope you like composers
The romantic era composers were known for being deeply emotional and gaining inspiration for their works by nature, poetry and life experiences, so I wanted to make a game about that.

I am borrowing the basic game mechanism from Tokaido where you move your pawns a number of spaces.

The point values are the notes at the bottom, so you are composing your piece as you get cards. Eventually I want to make them meaningful or able to be played, and I want each of the life experience cards to be unique, but I wanted some feedback before I sink a bunch of time into it.

Here is my draft (in two different PDFs) You will need your own player pawns, and I recommend using cubes for the inspiration.

Thanks so much!

There should be 2 files

The excel file is the rules, the word doc is the cards that need printed and cut out. Only need the 30 cards with numbers on them. (The blank cards were extra.) Let me know if you have any questions.

ARG, Thanks for replying, and

ARG,

Thanks for replying, and giving your link. (I was dumb and didn't look at the other sheets in the spread sheet)

I send you a PM with my feedback in case other people want to review your game I don't want to influence them with the public feedback.

I hope you enjoy my prototype!

Just to let you know, there

Just to let you know, there is a virtual playtesting group that is very active and you are guaranteed to get playtesters of your game

https://discord.gg/Dh4wZym

The only caveat is that you need to have your game in either Tabletopia or Tabletop simulator. I have used it and its great.

The group usually meets on Mondays and Thursdays
