Horde Inc. sell sheet
Sell Sheet v.2

This is my potential sell sheet for Horde Inc. A game that will most likely be the first that I get published.

I have it in PDF form as well.

Let me know what you think!

Edit: Made some changes based on comments here and elsewhere!

So I've taken a look and...

You're missing some very IMPORTANT information:

1. The Number of players (1 to 5, 2 to 4, etc.)

2. The Time to play a game (2 Players = 60 minutes, 4 Players = 90 minutes, etc.)

3. The Minimum Age of the Players (ages 13+, ages 18+, etc.)

Secondly ... I think your DESCRIPTION (while novel) is a bit long... I'd try to trim it down just a bit.

Thirdly ... Those 3 textboxes either need to be ALL the SAME size so that they look SYMMETRICAL. Now they are all three (3) different sizes and it makes the SELL SHEET appear a bit amateurish. You can fix this by lowering the tab space to the LEFT of each bullet point (and try to trim off some space that way...) to get them all the SAME size.

These are only suggestions, feel free to use, adapt or ignore these ideas depending if they do/don't work for you!

BTW Why are the cards there??? What are they supposed to ILLUSTRATE??? Just some sample cards?! If so, I would add a LABEL: "Sample Cards from the game."

Also the Simultaneous vs. Turn Phases, IDK what to suggest. Maybe a TITLE like: "Actual Game Play Phases." Are there more steps?! Or is this all of them (I personally from what I read think that this is what you do on a turn/simultaneously...) But I get it, you're trying to maximize the time so things can happen in parallel (during the various phases). Makes 100% sense.

Note #1: Just the only real problem is the 3 BASIC GAME information that anyone interested in the game really needs to know. The rest is "cosmetic" and can be overlooked (it's just some general advice) but the VERY important information is NEEDED to know what it is people will be BUYING INTO! Cheers...

Maybe you can put a STRIP / Rectangular Area...

On the TOP RIGHT-HAND side (where you have the game description). You should be able to locate the icons for # of Players, Game Time, and Age... By searching the Internet (there are a ton of freeware SVGs you can use in Illustrator). Or you can find some Transparent PNGs too... Make sure they are large enough in SIZE so that they can accommodate 300 DPI print resolution.

If you find a way to lessen the "description", that would be a perfect place to put the THREE (3) Essential Game Info.

Cheers @Tbone.

Basis

I also am missing the basis of the game.
Meaning, the minimum amount of cards a player needs.
Perhaps other things a player needs.
And what is supplied by the "starters" deck or box.

One of my buddies likes zombies, let me know once it is finished.

Email Address

This may sound a bit too nit-picky... But how would you feel about creating a specific email address for your game designs? Your current one may have an off-putting feel for some, and if this is a first impression, you may want to remove any chance of potential negative vibes.

Maybe make the top items a bit bigger in FONT SIZE

I think your new version is MUCH BETTER... But I would make the FONT SIZE for the Number of Players, Play Time, and Age a bit BIGGER!

But it's pretty decent as is. Cheers!
