Hello all--

If you've the time, please read through and critique the rules sheet for (my currently available as a print-n-play) game Scavengers & Space Scum. You can download the PDF version of the rules here:

http://www.let-off.com/bgames/scavengers/scavengers_instructions.pdf

Any critique and feedback welcome. I'm entering the blind playtesting phase with this one, so tear it apart as required. Thanks! :D

I haven't looked at the PnP

I haven't looked at the PnP but have read the rules.

Under Set-up the number saying how many decks is missing

The rules don't say how to resolve the cards. I'm assuming it's just a comparison of the value of the energy card played including any adjustments for tech or space scum cards but perhaps that could be clarified? Also, the sample tech card shown say you can add a point to one player, can the person that played the card nominate themselves?

Tedthebug - Response

Thanks for reviewing the rules. It's okay if you've not taken a look at the PnP files, as there are examples in the rules for the relevant cards.

Fixed that omission regarding decks of cards. There are 6 small ones.

I've clarified a little bit about bid resolution. The text on the Technology or Space Scum cards can determine who wins that turn, but if not then players refer to the number displayed on their bid card. The highest unique number wins the bid. This is identified in item 6.

And yes, the Technology card can apply to oneself or other players. If it specifically indicates another player, I use the word "opponent" or "all other players." If it's just for the player who plays it I use "you" or "your." If you browse through the Technology cards you'll see several more examples.

Thanks again for your comments, Tedthebug! If you have any more please share them.
