The Game Crafter now offers custom printed chits!

The Game Crafter is pleased to announce a new category of products called Chits, starting with the Large Square Chit. Chits are also known as “punch-outs” and “cardboard tokens” in certain circles. It is best to think of them as miniature tiles. Chits are great as counters, for tile games such as Mahjong or Scrabble, and even as resources or obstacles to be placed on a board.

They are 2mm thick, printed double-sided, and are full bleed. They come 77 to a sheet for $9.49 which makes the cost per chit 12 cents.

Circular chits?

Are you guys planning to have circular chits (similar to POGS). Something like 1.25in in diameter with 2mm thick, double-sided, full bleed???

It would be a better solution that Wooden Tokens with Token stickers... Those are a more expensive solution, the POGS (circular chits) might be interesting for designers and their games...

Just a thought, I already submitted this idea to the Idea section of The Game Crafter!

COOL!

That's great news!

Although you will probably still offer shards, these new "POGS" (or Circular chits) will most probably replace shards for all practical uses...

Same goes for Wooden Tokens and Token stickers...

I think those two (2) TGC offerings may become *obsolete* because of the NEW chits (Square, Hexagon and Circular)...!

The price of the chits may be more expensive than shards, but they're also more *durable* because of their 2mm thickness.

Durability!!!

I have been wanting to make a game through the Game Crafter for some time, but I had always been worried about using little "shards" because they always seemed to me like they'd be really hard to pick up, and that they would be very easy to lose. Once they come out with Hex chits, expect my games to show up very soon!
