Electrical tape for Colored flags

I recently stumbled across this at the hardware store: Electrical tape comes in many different colors. If you are making a prototype for a game that requires color coding or colored tokens or flags, this can be a cheap way of doing it on a prototype without having to paint or cut fabric.

It will not look good on a final, but for a 1st round of play testing it is the cheapest solution.

Duct tape too, which also comes in numerous patterns and designs. I don't think it is actually a fad, but colored tapes are being marketed as one. The guy at our local electrician's supply store told me that the girls from the high school color guard are their second biggest customers for the colored electric tape.
