I'm looking for small, colored, plastic stands that will hold up cardboard player pieces.

This is a link to the King of Tokyo character stands, which are much larger than I need, but I wanted to give everyone a visual.

I can't seem to think of an existing board game whose pieces I could use. And I'm not sure of a store or web site that might sell such things. I'm trying to think if crafts stores might sell them as card/table setting stands for parties/weddings.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

The Game Crafter

Here's a link to check out The Game Crafter's card stand assortment:

And here's Print & Play Productions' component page. You'll find stands about half-way down the list:

Lots of places have similar things. For instance, Rolco:

zdepthcharges picture is also a good suggestion, and cheap- those are "binder clips" and can be gotten in any office supply store.

how about the spines from slide on report covers.

how about the spines from slide on report covers. Cut the to length you need them to be, glue on square of styrene if needed for stability. I have seen them on sale for as little as 10 cents a piece. Here is a link to office max for an example: http://www.officemax.com/office-supplies/binders-accessories/report-cove...

If you're handy with a saw

If you're handy with a saw you could get/make some wooden cylinders and cut a grove down the middle.

*always use proper protection using a handsaw.
