Im wondering if anyone knows of good places in China to mold and make toys such as Pokemon plastic action figure characters?

I think this is appropriate thread as its components for games more or less and also trading cards to print?
P.S How do you test a trading card game and are the mechanics more or less the same in Trading card games?

Also finally Im wondering if model design is automatically copyright or omes under patent?
OR if done via paper desig first then toy figure is that automatic copyright or still have to patent the figure?

Thats four questions in one LOL

Like any other game you must play it to know if it works. These sorts of games are tricky when cards have effects that change the rules. Testing all the possible combinations is almost impossible if the full set is large.

They don't have to be. They can be anything you can think of.

yes, model design is

yes, model design is generally automatically protected by copyright as artistic expression.

if your model -does- something unique, like has a new form of joint movement, or is the first model ever with a redeemable barcode imprinted on it's crotch; or -is- something unique based on the materials or the way it's manufactured... that's when a patent would come in.

skip trading

Hey thanks for answers

I think I will skip the trading cards attached to figures.
Making the figures is much simpler and also I am trying to get them licenced or will try :)))

Shame nobody knows about good honest cheap companies in China

P.S I tried to patent my crotch once but they siad it was too big
