Hey folks,

In addition to designing my own games, I also work as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator. I've noticed that there are few options out there for our game design community to access high quality, low cost and royalty free images that fall under the common game themes.

I plan to start providing vector art and icons for games via istock.com and thought I would ask you the community what topics you would like to see first? Cthulhu Themes? Fantasy? SciFi? Meeple art?

Dark Fantasy and Fantasy

Dark Fantasy and Fantasy meets Technology is what draws me the most.
But that's like, my opinion man.

By sci-fi meets fantasy, do you mean laser firing Elves vs. Orcs with missles?

No, more like Steampunk-ish

No, more like Steampunk-ish in a fantasy setting. Crude machines and such.. Low/Medium tech in a dark fantasy world. Experimental weapons and machines and w/e you could think of, but not lasers or spaceships or that kind of stuff.

Couldn't you just imagine space elves fending off space dwarves...oh wait...sounds a lot like Star Trek to me...

Thanks for responses (and also the Space Elves discussion).

I'll create some samples and share.

What about sharks with lasers

What about sharks with lasers attached on their heads?
joke.

The real question is. How good are you at designing WW2 soldiers and tanks with a little bit of sci-fi in it.
An alternate technology development. Like those in Red Alert? I always loved Tesla weaponry.
I am only curious, if it is possible to fit little drawings on 2,5 x 2,5 cm cards.
My problem is drawing the soldiers. I have no idea where to begin with.

You asked for it...well sort of.

I'm releasing this illustration as open source. If you'd like to credit me, that's cool, but not necessary.

That space elf is so awesome. By awesome I mean he's like a steampunkish cyber elf. I mean, I didn't know you could combine all three genres in one so flawlessly!
